Thank you for responding.  Yes, I know everything online depends upon the speed of your internet but I'm just looking for an average amount of time.  I have a good speed cable connection but maybe not as fast as say someone in a city who is close to the hub.  I'm in the country and 9 miles from the hub.  I download a full 1 GB movie in 4-7 minutes (depends on the host) and it takes me 10-25 minutes to upload it (again, depends on host site I'm uploading to).

About how long does it take to upload a dvd/bluray collection of 2500 movies to have it online so friends can view your collection?  Thanx for any responses.

I recall people were having a lot of problems with Version 4 of DVD Profiler when it was first introduced. Some problems were fairly severe and people here advised me to wait until things were fixed before downloading the update.
As an example, back on February 14th
author - widescreenforever
"Is this a normal  look for Profiler 4"
Mentions about tabs not appearing correctly and the 3rd response (Feb 20th) states that bug was reported but they guessed it didn't get fixed.
I am wondering if anyone knows for sure if it is now fully fixed and okay to update to Version 4.  I am using V.3.9.1 Build 1657 and am running Windows7 64bit Ultimate and it's working fine.  Thank you to anyone who knows.

Yes, when I would first submit the profile, it would show up but over on the right, it would show "Incomplete Submission" though I knew it was complete but then everything would simply disappear. I've tried it twice with no joy so I guess is best to wait and see if things get all straightened out.

Thanx again for responding.

WOW!!!  Thanx ever so much for the useful info.  Guess I will stay with my 3.91 version.  But something doesn't cound quite right...are there new owners for this program because it doesn't sound like the original owners would ever release something bad like that.

Thanks all for responding but though I have twice submitted a perfect & correct contributuion for the Our Gang dvd with 4 episodes, nothing ever came of it.  After the first day, I would go back and check the contribution page and there was no info there at all about my contribution though the first day it had been.  This is a brand new SEALED dvd that I personally own.  If they wanted something that was perhaps on the actual dvd itself yet not on the case then I don't know what it would have been but was not going to open a sealed dvd case.  I don't  know how they ever got so many dvds into their database when I've always had a problem trying to contribute one.  Anyhow, just wanty to extend my thanks for all responses.

When I opened my DVD Profiler this morning, I got a popup telling me there was a new version available ( 4.0 ) do I want to d/l it.  I clicked on yes but I could not get any info on this new version, instead it shows the 3.91 from 2015.  Have they discovered bugs in the new 4.0 version or what?  Thanx

Yes, that is where I have been checking (all possibilities) and nothing at all pops up.  When I very first cllicked to submit it (about a week ago) it showed it had been submitted right then but not within the contribution section.  I'll wait a couple more days and resubmit it.
Thanx for responding.

About a week ago, I contributed a profile (plus front & back covershots) for a dvd that was not included in the online database. "Our Gang" 4 episodes w/UPC 779836216397.  When I try to check to see if it was accepted, declined, or pendiing review, I can find nothing at all.  Anyone have any thoughts on this.  Thanks for your time.
