I wish there was a solid consensus on this.  I just did all six volumes of Eureka seveN as:

Episode 1
VA (Japanese)
VA (English)
Episode 2
VA (Japanese)
VA (English)

Then after they had all been released I started on Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C and thought this is dumb.  So I did it for my personal in the first way Broven mentions.

We need to get a decision on these different TV series with multiple language casts.

And then, just to complicate things further, you have anime collections where I'm seeing dividers for Japanese cast and English cast.  So if you were to also have dividers for episodes, would you have:
    1. Episode
          English cast
              Joe schmoe etc
          Japanese cast
              Takashi Schmoe etc

Seems - I don't know - bulky.
I'm just curious about anyone else's take on this as I have alot of anime, and was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the prospect of reordering things.
Or does no one care so much about anime?

So 'Joe' is the English translation of 'Takashi'?  Nice to know that 'Schmoe' is universal.

Worry, but that gave me a chuckle.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
