I had to go back and run VideoList as a second DVD program to carry my inventory on my Blackberry.
Still use DVDProfiler as the main program on my desktop.

BlackBerry Tour 9630 user here. We Need this App. I'm tired of iPhone getting special treatment over the BlackBerry. There are more BBs in the world than there are iPhones.

I have no idea if this will have any impact on Ken's decision on if he will be making a Blackberry version or not, but I read that RIM just released Enhanced Java and Web Development Tools for BlackBerry which is supposed to make it easier for developers to build BlackBerry apps.  Here's a link to the article:

http://crackberry.com/rim-releases-enhanced-java-and-web-development-tools-blackberry

I really hope Ken will take a look at the new tools and consider adding the huge amount of Blackberry users to the customer pool.  There are a lot of us, but it's discouraging to add posts to this thread.  This thread started almost three years ago asking if there are any plans for a BB version and Ken has never made any comments on it.

On the bright side... he has never officially (publicly) shot down the idea (that I know of).  Hopefully the new set of tools will make this a possibility!

Have a look at the following thread (and post near the bottom of this page) since it may provide some help for you.

This might help some, I am not sure exactly why it works for me. Other's may be able to expand.

On my blackberry, using the blackberry browser, I went here

http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/kavandi

On my blackberry bold 9700 it loads ok and works.
The images on the right are not really required, I just to want to make sure I don't double purchase when at the store.

I looked at the source of the web page above.

I then typed in and went to:

http://www.invelos.com/onlinecollections/dvd/InBlue/List.aspx

That's the right hand side listing only.

The URL has no reference to my profile, but it bought up my list, It's probably cached from the first page, or a cookie.

Some one may know enough about things, and it may help another to find a usable solution  to find another solution

Thanks Kevin thats all I needed. As long as I can see what I have I wont buy a second copy of my disks. I bought 2 copies of Zoom because I didn't know my wife had gotten it for the kids already.

But if a BB version does come out...sign me up!

Why hasn't Profiler stepped up to tell us what's going on?  Will there be a version for Blackberry or not??????????

Show me a software company that announce in good time what and when they will release, and I'll show you a software company with stupid management. It's impossible to predict software development and the market changes happening throughout the development process, so modern software companies announce once they have something running, not when they start working on it.

I hope he doesn't forget the "BlackBerry Storm II - 9550.
This is BY FAR the best DVD Software Library Library I have ever seen, and I'm on the computer at least 16 hours a day.
The thing is that my library has grown so large, I can't always remember if I own the title or not, when I'm out shopping
Accept me for who I am, right or wrong. But don't try to change me !!

Add me to the BlackBerry wish list, though with BB 10 around the corner, the Android app could just be ported over to the BB and you can be done with it. Won't support older OS versions, but hey...let's face it, BB users are on an island lately with apps.  BB 10's ability to use ported Android apps is a blessing we should all embrace.
