So... when did the Amazon links start showing up in our online collections?  I just noticed it.

Rumor is that discs bought through these links are somehow better than those from normal links.  Some say they're sharper, others that the sound is a teensy bit clearer.  One disturbed looking gentleman even claimed they cured his rheumatism.

One thing's certain though, they do support the site.

I wish I would have seen this sooner though. I basically make 1 order per month, and already placed it a few days ago.

See Ken! You should announce such things!

It's integrated into 3.8 (toolbar button w/a drop-down that shows the price and a link) so we plan to list this in the release notes, but in the mean time the links are in the Add DVD by Upcoming window as well as the online collections.

Will it be locality specific  ? I'd love a direct link to amazon.ca

Yes, it already is.  The links should go to all the different amazon sites automatically, based on locality.  Here's what it looks like in 3.8:

I don't know how it works... but using your links do you get anything if we buy from Amazon Marketplace? I get a lot of my catalog titles used through the Marketplace now (times are tough!). If you do still get credit for those... would it be possible to put the Marketplace prices for New and Used as links as well? Just wondering.

Heads up that your Amazon UK links have the US site reference (ends in -20). You need to register seperately for the UK site and it will be the same but with a -21.

I'll add Invelos to my Amazon rotation.

Yep. You still get paid on these (without shipping cost of course). Even if it is a 1p DVD and you might not get commission, it will still count towards the totals for a higher commission % rate.

Smart move Ken!

I've had an Amazon affiliate link on my site for years - have yet to get a single penny in commissions. I hope Invelos does better than that. You deserve the support, what with the lifetime license and very liberal use of your web resources.
Thanks for your support.

Thanks for the info... while it isn't really necessary as I will still be able to get to them from the main link... it would be a nice addition... and save us a click or two.

Yeah, one account for each site is a hassle.  Fixed the affiliate insertion, thanks!
