I don't believe that there will ever be a Android app.

Thats why i'm looking for another PC/Android combo package elsewhere, Ken has taken far to long.

Come on Hom3r, do not be so unfaithful

I am sure that somewhere in future a DVDPM for Android will appear, it is just a matter of (probably many) time

In the meanwhile those unofficial applications should be enough for almost anyone.

In any case you are free to find other possibilities... and send us some feedback about them    For instance, the Movie Collectorz Androind app it is quite brilliant but the PC application does not fit with my likes. That is a subjective, personal opinion, of course.

Best regards and Happy New Year!

Sure, if they release it this year they need only 5 years ( how long did they need for the apple crap? 6 month or less? ) Sorry but this is awkward if you see how fast some here make an unofficial app and how many want an android version

I may have found why some covers are not making the transfer.

All of mine were in my Purchased category. Any one else notice where the their missing profiles were being stored ?

Next up the main reason I noticed that almost non of my child profiles didn't get transfered even though they were flagged, there seems to be an issue with using Disc ID's vs UPC's

The Delv and I are exchanging emails just wanted to see if anyone else had noticed these issues as well.

I thought this is a feature, not a bug?
E.g. my Alien-Anthology-BDs: If I do a full export, only the boxset-parent is shown, no childs. When I leave the parent out, I still see nothing.
Only when I manipulate the XML-export to empty the <BoxSet/Parent>-node they do show up. The UPC in MyLoD  says "no UPC" because they are added by Disc-ID, but I couldn't care less about that tiny detail.

Well when I export the XML, I have the child profile selected and leave the parent out. In my case its shorting me all my box sets.

Yupp, that is what I'm doing to. But the child-profiles still contains a field with the ID of the parent-profile. Export one such child-profile, open it in an editor and search for 'BoxSet' and in the next line you'll find something like
<Parent>123456789012</Parent>
As long as this is present, the profile will not be shown. Replace the line with
<Parent/>
and everything is fine.

I solve that problem by employing a little XSL-transformation. If you are interested I can pm you details tomorrow. (way past sleeping-schedule already)

Hi everyone,

My friend (I am trying him to register in the forum, I am starting to feel a bit silly with this spokerman function I have  ) has released a new version including some changes asked by someone in this forum.

Here is the info he has supplied me:

==================================
MyLoD 2.0 beta 3

What's new

Some changes suggested by user RobAGD (thanks!) and several bug fixes.

- Some users are exporting the xml database with no "parent" profiles in the box sets, resulting in lost "children" info. By design, only parent profiles appear on the main list, the children are shown in the details page (General->Boxset contents). Now, these "orphan" profiles are not lost anymore, but shown in the main list with all the other discs.

- The cover pictures are taken from the main database, not from the (much larger) .jpg files in the image folder. So, the transfer times and sdcard content sizes are kept to a minimum. In some cases, the cover image is not present on the db and thus it's not transferred to the device, even if there a suitable .jpg which could have been used. From now on, we consider it's a better option to transfer the .jpg file than leaving the cover space empty. We may change this option in the future based on your feedback, I don't think this is a very clean solution...

- Bug fix on data filter: selecting to show DVD discs only, multi-format discs (dvd & bluray on the same item, for example) were not shown.

- Bug fix on proper display of Disc ID when UPC is not present. No more "No UPC" messages.

I hope you enjoy the new version!

The links for the Android app and the updater are as follows:

It didn't seem so difficult to copy & paste the links, but I had to choose the hard way

Well, now the link is fixed.

My friend noticed it when trying to register into the Forum, but it happens that only registered DVDP users are allowed to register into the Forum. Since I am a registered user from the beginning I had not noticed that isssue... Well, I will have to continue acting as his spokesperson... but trying not doing so many mistakes

Best regards

I didn't try yet the new version but the previous was very nice
I will try the new ones asap

I would be happy to have the possibility also to choose the sort way, meaning so sort by Id or purchase date in both way (asc or desc)

Thanks

Downloaded and tested, very nice! Although my nice and shiny XSLT is now superfluous.

Just as a sidenote: for the next version (    ) it might be a good idea to start a new thread "MyLoD" in DVD Profiler Mobile: Mobile Technical Support.

Hi there,

thank you very much for this nice piece of software. I like the easy way to synchro. Is it possible to implement different ways of sorting, e.g. date of purchase?

Again, thanks a lot!
