Printing Reports |
To access DVD Profiler's reports, selectTools->Reports ().
Select the report you'd like to print, and under the Options tab select to print the report "As filtered/sorted", "Flagged entries only" or "Standard". To print a filtered report, or a report sorted by other than the title, use DVD Profiler's filters section and sorting options to set up your collection listing before selecting reports. To print a report with specific selected DVDs, first flag the entries in your main collection list (DVD->Flag), then select "Flagged entries only" in your report's option page.
Next, select Run Report. DVD Profiler's reporting engine will prepare the report and display it in the Print Preview window. If the report contains thumbnail images, the program will first make sure all your thumbnails are up to date, generating new thumbnails for any changed images. Note that this may take several minutes depending on how many new images you have. Thumbnails are cached in the DVD Profiler directory, so the next time you run a report this will be much faster.
DVD Profiler's Print Preview window lets you browse the report before you print it. You can move from page to page, zoom in or out, and even change the paper size. The paper size selected here is what DVD Profiler will use to lay out your report, both for preview display and when actually printing. The default paper size for each report is determined by the report, and can be changed from the Edit Report window.
Select Page->Print to print the current page. SelectFile->Print to display the Print Report dialog box.
The Print Report dialog lets you select or set up your printer, and print part or all of the displayed report. You can also print multiple copies of the report, and choose to print alternating pages (Odd or Even) so you can print a two-sided report with a single-sided printer.
