This article states Nancy Caroll is 40 years old, dated Tuesday 10 December 2013 01:52 GMT.
This why I went with 1973. Otherwise, it would have said she was 39.
I hope people agree, if not I will withdraw 1973.

Further information from ObiKen.
Yes, I noted that article and the inference of 1973 birth year, but I could not find any reference in the Wiki article that stipulated 30 September, 1973.
However, I did find out she graduated from Alleyn high school in 1992, which confirmed she must have been born between 1st September, 1973 and 31st August, 1974 (UK is different to Australia, they start first term on 1st Sept of each year).
NANCY CARROLL's school years:
• 1st September 1978: She turns 5 on 30 September, so misses the 1 September cutoff for the new school year.
• 1st September 1979: She enters her first full year of primary school (Reception) as one of the oldest in her class, having turned 5 a year earlier.
• School Duration: Standard education in the UK lasts 13 years (Reception through Year 13).
• Graduation (June 1992): After 13 academic years (1979–1992), she finishes secondary school (A-Levels) at age 18 (but turns 19 on 30 Sep).
So I can only conclude IMDB is wrong, if she had been born in November 1974, she would have started school in 1980 and graduated in 1993.
