Kathy had already made the point well enough.

I’m afraid I’m pointless: I just wanted to make FunkyLA laugh. Mission accomplished!

Thank you all for your comments. I was just trying to add some movies to MY DB only not for any other use. they are not in the profilers online DB. I can't seem to input them manuely so I wanted to know if there was another way to input the informatiom . I put the DVD in my drive but it will not read it in profiler. Yes I can READ I don't like to type so I was looking for a way to save time for my OWN DB not start world war 3 sorry.

Since no one has attempted to tell you how to enter the movies into your DB since they are so busy carping at each other, I'll take a stab at it.

You need to tell Profiler to ignore the online database - because you want to do a manual entry.  When you click on the ADD button (either the icon or in the DVD menu) you should see a tick box that will let you NOT use the online database (like "don't download from online database").  Then you can enter the title of your disc and add it.  I don't have profiler on the computer I'm using here at work, so I don't know the exact wording - but I know the box is there.

Maybe someone else will provide a more precise answer.

Ken was pretty much spot on with his description of adding manual DVDs.
But the tick box you're looking for is actually the "Download profile from Invelos" box, and you need to clear it (it's ticked by default).

Once you have made your changes the disc icon lights up to ask you if you want to "Contribute the changes" if you right click this icon you can select to "Never Contribute This Profile" so that the program itself can prevent you from accidentally contributing unrequired data.

Thanks, NB.  I knew someone would be able to give the correct description of the box.
