Only one is correct. The others are personal preference. I guess Ken himself muddied the water with his MIB decision, then? | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

Only one is correct. The others are personal preference. And who is going to decide this one - Mob rule , Dictator rule, or Common sense, because people don't want to follow the rules when it's not how they want it. |

Since the "Men in Black" ruling by Ken does not apply to anything but "Men in Black", then the standard rule applies: "Take the title from the front cover" Not part of the title, or the part that you think is right, or the one that matches the credit block, or the one everyone else uses, or the one IMDB uses or any other source. Simply take the title from the front cover. | | | Hal |

Clearly! Not Invelos or Ken, because apparently it takes way too much time & effort to post a quick and simple answer to such questions. | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |

Episode descriptors are part of the title; separate them with a colon and space; e.g. "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock". For multiple descriptors, use a colon and space for each break.

Not saying it's wrong. But for it to be an episode, shouldn't there be more than 1 film to make it a series of films like Star Trek. |

Granted the original title should be 42 in this case, It was just an example - people see it as the full title, others see it as a tagline. The same as MIB: Men in Black, some see it as a logo and others see it as the title. |

| Posted: | | | | These discussions about titles is getting ridiculous.
The title rule needs to be changed. The marketing gimmicks that manufacturers use, does not get us the title we need
Men in Black 3 is the title, not MIB³ Men in Black 2 is the Title, not MIIB Men in Black is the title, not MIB
Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace not what ever crap they put on the cover to sell it.
R.I.P.D. is the Title,
or any of the other stupid discussions we have about titles.. |
