I don't regret my choice of titles so much (though I recently watched Star Trek: Nemesis 18 months after buying it and realized I probably wouldn't have bought if had I known how bad it is).

What I really regret are the titles I purchased early on that have been vastly improved in mastering or just more interesting special editions.  I always feel like I lost points in the collecting game when I have to double-dip a title.
