| | Posted: | | | | Come on guys, the PS3 is God's answer for all the world's problems. It's true, A_S (during the format war) proclaimed the world to be a better place with Blu-ray. As if the entire planet would for some reason fall into mass chaos if Blu-ray didn't exist.
Ascended...Seriously man, people don't need you to "save them". You're not that special. People continue to have that "knee jerk" reaction because you're still a jerk. Simple, huh?
As for the topic at hand. Whatever. People will buy what they want to. There is plenty of room for three consoles, that's obvious. I have a PS3, might get an 360 and maybe even a Wii, just for the hell of it. Can I be king of the game console kingdom if I do? Who cares? It doesn't really matter. You have money, go ahead and spend it on whatever you'd like. I'll do the same with mine, if that is ok with you. |

Anyway...The ultimate point is that I will never, ever understand the need for some people to crap all over someone else's fun. It just doesn't matter, at all. Some people like the PS3, some like the 360 and some like the Wii. Some people like, even see the benefit AND relevance of ALL THREE consoles. Of course we also have the "chosen ones" who see no particular value, benefit or relevance in anything other than the console they chose for their own usage. I don't know, to me that's kind of sad.
I like to hang out at the beach from time to time, some people find it boring. Maybe they like to hang out at bars all night. Not for me. Does it make one better than the other? Nope. That doesn't take away from the fact that they get enjoyment from it, as I do going to the beach at times. It doesn't make me "better" or worse. It's all preference and opinion. That's it. Once some people understand that there is plenty of room at the table for all three sisters they'll be better off. Don't have much faith that will actually happen though. |
