Frosted film vs etched glass aesthetics

I’m thinking of replacing some glass panels in my house. Would frosted film give a similar look to etched glass, but cheaper?

From my experience, yes — it looks very similar. I checked frosted films on
and saw designs that mimic etched glass well. The effect is convincing, easy to change, and budget-friendly.
