i have bought a few shout factory blu rays from Amazon lately that should have had slip covers but not on mine when orders came in.  Recently i bought the kurt russell classics escape from ny and la.  the la one came with a slip but not ny.

that is disappointing.  I had decided to upgrade some dvds i like to blu ray or possibly 4k (titles i really love) and have liked previous shout factory stuff i have purchased.  it just bugs me when the amazon picture still shows a slip cover and then it shows up without it.  i read somewhere last night slip covers only come with first runs also instead of all runs of a movie.

I get upset when I have pre-ordered a disc and it doesn't come with a slipcover.
On my favorite movies, I order from the US Amazon site so I do not get the Bilingual slipcover.
It doesn't look like the new Superman 2025 movie will get a slipcover.
They actually take a bit more shelf space than without.

I do feel pretty bummed out when Amazon's photo promises a slipcover, I order the Blu-ray or 4K Blu-ray, and it comes with no slipcover.

Conversely, I'm always pleasantly surprised when there's no indication of a slip cover, but it DOES come with one.  That happened to me when I recently order Shout! Factory's 2024 Blu-ray release of the 2009 horror film Orphan.  I like that!
