After over a year of neglecting my collection, I decided to catch up on some entries.. and I find that there's been a few changes!  So now I have this spiffy new version and I can't download my over 2.7k DVD's that I'd originally uploaded.  This doesn't *really* bug me, since I've moved and things have been a little jumbled around here and its probably best to just re-enter everything.

So.. I have these stacks of DVD's and I started entering the barcode numbers.. OMG. Insanity.

Are there bar-code scanners that could make this easier? I've been searching the forums, but I'm not having any luck finding any topics.

Pretty much any barcode scanner is fine. Anything from the free/cheap cuecats's to the really expensive.

I used to have cuecats, but my current pc doesn't have ps2, so I bought a usb scanner off ebay and it works flawlessly.

If it uses builtin windows drivers it should work without any issues in dvdprofiler.

Run a search on ebay for cuecat, they have usb ones and yes they work very well. I have bought a few (dog ate the first one.....no..really......puppy) and they both have been around $6 plus shipping, so around $11 total.
