If you have switched to 3.0, you can safely delete it.
Or, just try it out. ZIP the folder, delete it and keep the zip. If all works fine, kick the zip as well...

What's the point of deleting it?

it's also completely useless once the move to 3.0 is made.

Personally, I burned it to a DVD (wouldn't fit on a CD) and then deleted the whole thing (I mean the whole C:\ProgFile\DVD Profiler 2.5 folder).

I guess Mike's point is, to have 2.x available for a while to double-check profiles, but wants to save the space taken up by the images...

So, yes, Mike, as detlefs said, it is safe to just delete that folder (or it's content...).

as posted over at the phpdvdprofiler forum Im having trouble with my image upload and am wondering if my image file is bad and how to fix it, if I delete it what do I do for a new one.

Well if you are currently using DVD Profiler 3.0 to export the XML you use for phpdvdprofiler, you should really use the pictures from DVD Profiler 3.0 instead of 2.4/2.5.

The image files for 2.4/2.5 are named wrong for 3.0 (we used to strip the first and last number of the UPC for 2.4/2.5, we don't anymore for 3.0).

Hmmm, good catch Ross. That would explain why the paths are all correct and the images still don't show up (as discussed in the phpdvdprofiler forum...).

Fred caught it too, he's telling Mike (on the phpdvdprofiler forum) to add and set the $try_prev3_images variable to true.
