I can get the MPAA rating, but this does not represent the actual ratings that I have for the majority of my Region 4 discs, which have the following rating structure G, PG, M, MA, R, X, rather than the MPAA of G, PG, PG-13, NC-17, R, Adult.

Thanks.

Brett

You have to state the locality (Australia, New Zealand, etc.) of your discs. The ratings are bind to localities not regions. If the ratings of your locality are incorrect you should send a note to Ken Cole in order to have them fixed.

This is when creating a report. I can only select certain conditions and they relate to the MPAA rating system not the local ones for Australia. I know they are correct for the discs I have as I can see the ratings  on the screen and when I print the rating field out. I would like to be able to have a image instead of the actual rating text.

As per my report under the downloads section.

Thanks!

Now I understand. Then, I believe the reason is that the person who created the report template did not include all possible rating symbols of different localities. The report template uses MPAA symbols instead. Maybe you should edit the template yourself. I have not worked with reports and do not know if you can select the rating symbols according to locality. I know there are more experienced persons who can answer to that. Try contacting the person who created the report template if they could include Australian rating symbol images into the template.

Thanks! But I created the report template

The template only allows you to do Boolean matches on the MPAA ratings and not the ones used elsewhere in the world...

Cheers

I've got the same issue. I created a custom report & noticed an issue with some discs from r3 that have ratings like "Category III". I was going to make some conditions that would effectively shorten this down to something like "Cat III" or use it to show a picture or something in it's place. However conditions can only be created for MPAA ratings: NR, R, NC-17, ADULT, PG, PG-13, G... this sucks, the condition field needs to show all ratings & not just MPAA ratings. If I want a custom picture or something to appear on the report when a non-us rating such as "Category III" appears I'll definately need all the ratings in the MPAA Condition field & not just MPAA ratings also.

I'm also having the same issue, when trying to create a report for the UK - I only have the choice of the American MPAA ratings, and not the UK (or any others) ratings. I have set my locale to the UK in prefs, etc., but that has made no difference.

This is using 3.0.3.

I also have that problem but with New Zealand ratings. Since we have G, PG, M, R13, R15, R16, R18 and R ratings.
