Wrong number reported in Online Collection |

| | Posted: | | | | When I upload, DVDP warns me that 737, 5, 199 (Owned, Ordered, Wish) Online profiles will be overwritten by 806, 5, 205 local profiles. Fine. I continue with the upload. When I do another upload I get the exact same thing. Yet, if I examine both my local and online wish lists, they are identical. Both have the exact same 205 entries. Why does DVDP tell me that 199 Online Wish List profiles are about to be overwritten with 205 Local profiles, when the online already has the 205 that it is warning me about? At first I thought it must be the box sets. But, then I realized that 1) there are only 4 box sets in the wish list, and 2) Online Collection doesn't know about box sets anyway. I do not number the parent entry of box sets. But, Wish List entries are not numbered, right? It's just that, as can be observed by viewing my collection, there are 205 entries in the Wish List. They are exactly the same as the entries in the WIsh List of my local collection. Nevertheless, if I do an upload, DVDP informs me that 199 entries are about to be overwritten by 205 entries. But there are already 205 entries there. Nevertheless, if I proceed, nothing changes in the online wish list, and the next time I get the same message and results. I think I will try adding an entry to my WIsh List, and then doing a new upload, and see if the new entry appears in my online collection, and see how many titles DVDP then reports (on the next upload). | | Posted: | | | | I added a title to my Wish List, then uploaded to my online collection. This time it let me know that 206 profiles would overwrite my existing 199 profiles in my online Wish List. (Of course, there were really 205 profiles in my online collection at that time.) After the upload, the new profile is properly present in my online collection Wish List. After that, I did another upload, and get the same message: 206 titles are about to overwrite 199 titles. (But, now there really are 206 titles in my online Wish List.) I can see and count them. Everything seems to be OK, except that DVDP keeps telling me wrong values for the number of profiles in my online "Owned" and "Wish List" collections. (The number reported during an upload is correct for the "Ordered" collection in both my local and online.) My Online CollectionI just don't know why DVDP keeps telling me the wrong numbers for my online "Owned" and "Wish List" collections. I'm thinking I must be doing something incorrectly. Regards, DG |

There are 206 profiles in my local Wish List, and 206 profiles in my online Wish List. Every profile in my local Wish List is present in my online Wish List, and every profile in my online Wish List is present in my local Wish List.
Yet, when I do an upload, DVDP informs me that my local Wish List has 206 profiles, and my online Wish List has only 199.
When I do add a new profile to my Wish List, the local count increases by one, the online count (as indicated in the advisory dialog box during the upload) remains the same (199).
When I inspect my online collection, I visually verify that there are 206 entries.
There is a similar disagreement between local and online "Owned" collection, but I have not manually, physically performed a count to determine whether the online and local collections have the same number in reality.
The "Ordered" collections do agree, both in claimed number of profiles, and physically visible profiles.
