Hi. I want to backup my 2.4 version to a removable disc. How do I do this? I went to File but can not access the Removeble Drive button - why not? I can only use the Specific Location part but when I use that my computer does not recognize it and I can not open the file. According to the Help section I should be able to use a removable disc but I can not figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Kathy

When I try to open the file it says "Windows cannot open this file" I tried to save the data to a variety of places and the same thing happens. When I try to save it it CD Drive "Cannot create file" pops up. I really do NOT want to manually type in the data for 2500+ DVDs! I am new to computers and technology (I use a 1956 rotary phone!) so I'm sure the answer is simple if I could figure it out!! Is there a way to move the data from the old "my profile" site to the new one? Once again, thanks in advance.

Just select the button for Specific location and then click on the browse button.  The Save as window will pop up.  In the save in window select your local drive, which is usually your C: drive.  Just save it there giving it a name that you will remember, like 2.4backup.  Then run DVD Profiler 3.0 and goto File>Restore database.  The Profile Database Restore window will pop up.  Select specific location and select your local drive and look for the backup file for 2.4 that you saved and select it.  Click next...
