Hello all,

I was using the layout DVD Express (v.1.0 ) with profiler 2.4.0, it seems it's not possible with 3.0.0 version, I tried to import it, without sucess, is it possible to adapt some layouts from 2.4.0 to 3.0.0 ?

Regards

Alain

Most stuff can be imported straight over, other stuff may need some tweaking.

can you e-mail me the dps file? Then I'll have a look.

Hmmm, I went to the HTML window editor:
View|HTML Wondows|Edit

I selected to Import a Skin from 2.x:
File|Immport 2.x Skin...

It imported without problem and seemed to display alright (I don't know the original skin).

Alain, can you follow the above steps and see if you get the same result? If not, where is it going wrong? Is some information missing (well, it is already a very minimalistic skin...)?

Hello,

Thanks for your help,

In fact I follow the steps to import skin 2.x but I can't find it in 3.0.2
I have just the default layouts, not the imported one

When you go to View -> HTML Window -> Edit... and then import your 2.x skin, it doesn't create a new layout, it only adds a new HTML Window.

You then need to go to View -> HTML Window and the new imported skin should be shown there. Click it, and it will open a new window with the skin.

As Ross said, it's only a HTML window at first...

Follow what Ross said to activate the window. Then uncheck all the other windows to close them. After that anlarge the DVD Express window to fill the whole screen. Finally, save that view as a new Layout.

If this gives you any trouble, I can create the layout for you and e-mail it back to you.
