Well, I'm coming back to an old gripe, because I simply cannot get it to work.
The problem: I know that Boxsets also have the IDs of their child profiles in the master database. So it should be possible for DVD Profiler to automatically put those child profiles as contents of the box sets in my own database.
Yet, this simply never works for me. The last thing I know was that people told me I should FIRST add the profiles for the children, and then add the profile for the boxset. But even that does not work. DVD Profiler simply never puts the child profiles under its parent boxset automatically... I always have to go to the Edit pages and manually add the children there.

I remember reading that the app doesn't do it for you automatically but even if it did, note that the Disc ID's may not match other peoples Disc ID's even though the UPC is the same.

I added some boxed set contents for the Dungeon & Dragons TV series but when I inserted the disks, DVD Profiler didn't recognize them as my disc ID's didn't match the master profile.

The way I always use it is, I add the Boxset first. Then I add the Child profiles. I usually do a search by title. I do not add a collection number for child profiles since I don't want them counted as separate DVD's. Then I edit the Boxset profile, click on Box Set Contents, and assign the child profiles to the boxset. All child profiles are then displayed under the boxset.

Ditto on all counts (except on movie box sets I count the movies and not the box, TV I count the box and not the children  )

Well, in my particular case now, it was a box set of which the contents were separate boxes with UPC. So I don't think it was a problem with UPC.
Anyway, I have never managed to get this thing working, even though I guess it should since the master database does contain the box set contents and you can submit contributions for that as well...
If it is not working for anyone, then obviously there is no value at all of them being in the master database. But I guess I'm the only one who consistently has the issue ?

I'm not really sure what your problem is..

You need to download the boxset and the children separately and then edit the boxset to add the children into it.

I don't know whether you thing this is something which it should do for you? But it doesn't..

Well, it surely should. What else would otherwise be the use of having the box set contents in the master profile ?

Except that you can't actually see them in the master profile when you download it.  It's not like you can enter the UPC for the master profile and download it and from there figure out all the children you need and download them separately.  Even though we store child id links in the master profile, I've never seen where we can see that list once downloaded.

Perhaps this is a stretch, but I presume you have the Boxset in your hot little hands, I do when I am setting up children, I can then quite easily which titles are part of the set and fetch them accordingly.
