DBISAM Engine Error # 9729 Duplicate Key found in the index "of the table 'COLLECTION'

followed by the message  "Field 'TYPE' must have a value"

I've never come across this actual problem.

Have you tried 'tools' 'options' 'utilities' 'repair DVD profiler database'?

This may clear the problem and worth a shot

try this...

go to: Control Panel, Regional and Language opt., Advanced. And make sure that the language is set to English (United States). If the opsys is xp, click 'yes' to install the language, then restart

found other users had similar problem to yours in old forums, and this was a fix.

Tried that.  it was already set to that, so it didn't change anything (I'm already in the US).

Your colleciton.dat file is probably corrupted, "Field 'TYPE' must have a vlue" would seem to indicate that you have a dvd in your collection.dat file that doesn't have a type (Ordered, Owned, Wishlist).  I'm afraid only Ken will be able to give you some kind of fix for this.

Try exporting the DB and importing into a new empty DB.

Good thing you only had 401 records to reenter.

So yes, it would be good if someone could find out what happened.  I'd hate to have to reenter 2500 owned titles, not to mention all my wishlist items.
