Hello All, Sorta dumb question however I cannot find how to add a catalog/collection number to a 2nd or 3rd disc in a box set.

I'm in the process of removing all my DVD's from there boxes & placing them all in a single drawer however when I choose to "Auto-Expand Box sets" the program only assigns a single catalog number to a box set.

Is it possible to assign a catalog number to each individual disc & if so Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

thanks

To get a Collection number for each item open it up for editing and go to the Personal Information page

If it doesn't have a number it will mean the None checkbox is ticked next to 'Collection Number'; uncheck it and a number will be assigned.

If you want to use the Location/Slot info for this rather than collection number the informaiton is input on the same page and allows one entry per disc
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong

Looking at this again & playing with my collections DBase does that mean I can only assign each disc from a boxed set by using a slot & location number & not by a collection number ?

no - you can give them all collection numbers. The slot / location number is just another way of dividing them up - used a lot for dvd changers etc.

The collection numbers are allocated on the personalise screen for each profile
