i wanted to update all my images for 2.5 beta to 3.0 so i renamed my Images directory to something else and created a new images directory and a new thumbnails subdirectory. I selected "refresh all images" from the "online" menu tab in 3.0 and it downloaded all the new 3.0 images and update profiles. I have 1099 DVD's in my collection and 17 titles now have no profile and these same 17 titles have no images either. These same titles had both images and profiles in 2.5 Beta. So i then selected some of these titles and tried to "refresh dvd from invelos" and select "refresh profile and images" and it's not able to download any info on these titles that was there in 2.5. Just to give you some of the titles you can view my online list and oh well here are all the titles missing.

Not all profiles of 2.x made it through to 3.0. If they don't exist in 3.0, do a database backup in 2.5. Perform a database restore in 3.0.
Select "Restore Specific Profiles", choose your missing profiles from the list. Also, make sure you deselect "replace full user database", or you will loose your complete 3.0 database.
If you wanna be safe, make a backup in 3.0 also.
After the profiles are restored, you can contribute it like any other profile. Just make sure to include contribution notes , they are required for new profiles also.
