There seems to be know "child profiles" for Deadwood in the database yet.

Not sure what method you are using for the second one, but you should add the UPC as the parent profile and then all 36 discs by their Disc-ID, placing each Disc in the DVD-ROM drive of your computer. When doing so, you will be prompted that the profile is not available, so you will have to unselect "Download Profile from Invelos" before clicking Add DVD.

I am a little confused... 36 DVDs of Deadwood? There was only 36 episodes total. And at least here in R1 released in 3 season sets with 6 DVDs... Maybe they were released elsewhere per episode... like Masters of Horror? Or maybe trying to do episode profiling? or maybe trying to input home recorded dvds?

so depending on the case... not sure how to handle it. I sounds like to me he is trying to get a profile for each episode... which if I am right... the only way possible that I know of would be to make a manual profile for each... add by title and uncheck Download from Invelos Database.

oops, in that case it's best to use Manual profiles...

Add By Title, then unselect "Download Profile from Invelos" and then Add DVD.
