in the old version it was posible to have more than one db

Hi..

why can't i make more than one i the latest version????

before i just installed in diff. directories, and that worked like a charm.

is this posible in the new version....HOW???????????????

It's actually much much easier in the new version.

Just select File -> Open and select New Database from there.

This will let you select another database or copy the existing as a base. You can then change DB's on the fly.

Ahhh sorry - didn't notice the missing icon.

I don't know if it's available for free users either. FactFact will just need to get back to us

Great that it worked out for you.

Also now we know some of what IS available in the free version 

Still I would recommend upgrading/purchasing

You don't need more then one database just uses tags to spit the database. Like I got a tag called DJ Box 1 for DVD's in my DJ Box and another tag call Book Shelf for DVD's on the shelf.

This is a better way then you can have location numbers for each. You also don't have to try to remember what database a DVD maybe in.
