| Posted: | | | | Hi, I have the AXIM X30 and want to run the mobile product, i installed the trial and it will not open for me. I click on it and it does nothing at all. I want to see the trial work before I buy it. I like the desktop version and would love to have the mobile, but will not buy something that won't open in a trial mode.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to try? |

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to try? When you say "I installed the trial", what exactly did you do to install it? Also, in order for the Mobile version to work, you must have the latest versions of both the Desktop and Mobile version installed. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | Ok, here we go.
OS: Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Processor Intel (R) PXA270 Memory 63.1 MB + 1 GB Storage Card
As for the install, I downloaded the desktop and mobile on the same day. I installed the desktop in the normal fashion, ran setup and followed the prompts, added dvds and so on.
The mobile product I ran the setup, then active synch and it indicated that the software installed properly. I was able to "see" the mobile install from the desktop version and I attempted to synch the desktop and the AXIM. It gave me some warnings about the trial version that I accepted and moved on from.
Now when I try and start the application on the AXIM it will not open. It just chirps like trying to open any program and then nothing. It does not even show up in the running programs, so it appears that it is not starting at all.
Any suggestions? |

| Posted: | | | | I don't recall reading anyone getting it to work with WM2003. I can't find the requirements but I believe it's designed to work with WM5 and WM6 Professional. |

| Posted: | | | | I don't think it is installed.
I don't remember seeing that as part of the install but i may be mistaken. I will try again, later. I left all the connecting "stuff" at the office and I don't feel it necessary to get it for this.
Thanks for the advice. I will respond when I find out if I missed something, probably, and how it ends up. |

| Posted: | | | | It works fine with my X30, but I had to upgrade Activesync. I had version 3.7 installed, and got version 4.2.0 from Microsoft's website. It seems to be the most stable version for our older WM2003 devices. |
