No suprise really, but saw this on Amazon.com

I just ordered my first HD  DVD discs (and player) last night.  Discs arrive Monday.  Player not till Nov 1.  Meanwhile, i await the email from Amazon regarding Star Trek.

Be grateful that they don't release The Complete Star Trek Collection in HD, man talk about a serious marathon. I know about the one Amazon put together for DVD, but Paramount hasn't done it.....YET!!!

Now the Paramount spy that is no doubt here will go to work tomorrow and say, I've got a greta idea......

5 is underestimated. It's not that bad. The basement under the basement of ST movies is Nemesis.

ST5? what is this ST5 of which you speak. I thought they went from 4 to 6...I have no recollection of a 5.

The worst one of all of them is clearly "Star Trek: The Motion Picture."  Even the cast thought it was a stinker.  Most of them were very surprised when it didn't kill off the franchise.

I remember thinking when they announced an extended version of ST:TMP (back in my laser disc days) that if there was ever a movie that need less screen time and not more... 

I watched TMP a second time just to make sure it wasn't my mood that made the movie bad.  It wasn't.  But ST5 i couldn't subject myself to a second time.
