So I have a question about the Spider-man movies on Blu-ray. Only Spidey 3 is available as a separate movie. The contribution rules state you can't add detail to collections. So how are you supposed to accurately account for 1 and 2 as Blu-ray films?

What I did for now is added the DVD versions, changed them to Blu-ray and created my own cover art (see below).

Until we're able to add HD discs using disc ID (which should be in the next version of the software) then that's all we can do at the moment.
Another option would have been to create manual profiles for the 1st two films, which could be linked to the online profiles (once they existed) at a later date.

PS. Nice covers! I'm sure others with the same problem will appreciate them!

So those are fake UPCs?  I'm personally holding out until they release proper versions of SM1 and SM2.

The UK version, the discs come in individual keep cases, so they all have real covers. Obviously they can't be contributed currently as they are manual titles, but if you want mine, click on my sig to bring up my phpdvdprofiler collection.

I believe those covers are adapted from the DVD versions of the film, so that's most likely what the UPCs are for. Obviously these aren't for the online database, we have to wait for the next version before we can submit HD disc ID profiles.

@AJM, I don't have these discs (I don't have bluray), I'm guessing even though the discs are in separate cases, they don't have EANs on the back? So we're still stuck with the same situation?

Correct. Until we can add blu-ray's by disc id. The back covers have 'not for resale' where the upc should be.

Correct, Northbloke. This was just for my personal collection (unless someone just wanted to copy the pictures and paste them directly) until a better alternative is available.
