What do you think is the best or correct title for the Amazon.co.uk exclusive ?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Spider-Man-Special-Slipcase-Exclusive-Amazon-co-uk/dp/B000HD1004/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=gateway&qid=1201193206&sr=8-1

The contribution in question is listed under UPC: 5050350495433
The current title is just Spider-Man 3 with no edition attached to it.
the front scan is of the exclusive sleeve

The DVD itself is identical to the regular release, UPC: 5035822495432

What do you think?

IMO, if there's nothing on the cover about it being a special edition, then it shouldn't be mentioned in the title/dist.trait either. If the slip cover has a different EAN/UPC than the regular version, then it should be easy to find it in the online database if one adds the DVD by EAN/UPC.

I'd say Limited edition because it was released under that title.

Going by the rules... the way they are written now... I would think it would only be...

Title: Spider-Man 3

Neither front or back cover shows anything for the edition field. Only other thing that the rules sounds like you can do... and without looking at the program to see if either is in the drop down menu... is check the edition field drop down menu to see if one of the listings there is appropriate for the release.

But if I'm not mistaken, the specific rule refer only to the front cover.
The sleeve is a different matter, is it not?

No... the rule is not the front cover... the rule is on the box..

Rules Quote:
Quote:
The Edition field is for distinguishing between DVDs, and for indicating special versions and collections (for example The Criterion Collection, Widescreen, Full-Screen Edition). It's usually safe to use one of the built-in selections if appropriate. If you are using a non-standard description, take it from the DVD box, and ensure it will help distinguish between different releases of the same title.

See where I put in bold... that being said... looking at the scan for the back I don't see it there either.
