Would you include in Shrek's Running Time the "Karaoke Dance Party" short movie after the end credits?

I would say that if the Karaoke is part of the same title as the film on the disc, then yes, include it in the running time. But if it's a separate title that just plays automatically after the film, then no - don't include it.

Then I would class that as a bonus feature, not part of the main title.
I've just checked my disc and I get a runtime of 86 minutes (PAL).

I always thought it was on the DVD twice.
One at the end of the credits and the other to be accessed separately via extras.
If I remember this correctly the "Karaoke Party" was already to be seen in the theaters, but I might be wrong there.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I never saw Shrek at the pictures, but I always thought the Karaoke Party was part of the "all-new bonus footage" mentioned on the back of the DVD. It definitely plays as a separate title on my disc which is why DVD decrypter and Power DVD don't include it when giving you the runtime of the film.

I don't have the DVD here at the moment, it's loaned (I used the dirty word again) out.
So if the Karaoke Party is played automatically after the main feature it's not part of the main feature jus an add on. It doesn't add to the runningtime then.

I agree: it should not be part of the total running time.

In this case I'd use a external program to look up the length of the track (like DVD Decrypter).

Fair enough. Then be it, no Karaoke Party added to movie's runtime

Yes, same here.

But there seems to be some confusion in Shrek's profiles in the database. I checked two US profiles (NTSC), one is 93' (678149-083323) [probably including Karaoke Party in the runtime], another one is 90' (678149-069921) [not including].
There is even a Shrek profile with Runnning Time = 133' (0-667068-822793 Netherlands, PAL)

Actually it's what the back cover says: 133'!

It's likely that one of the US profiles is right: PAL runs faster than NTSC so about 90 mins is right.
And my cover says 2 hr 13 too - I guess that's the film and all the extras added together!

Yep! 90' NTSC should translate to roughly 86' PAL.
