I have a couple of box-sets/2 DVD sets that I want to add to my collection and profile. One is UPC 013131236194 which is a "Children of the Corn" and "Creepshow 2" two-disc set, and the other is UPC 096009053291 which is a box-set called "Comedy Classics: The Three Stooges and Our Gang". In both cases the movies can be found individually on the Invelos database under different UPC's, but as collections, sets, or box-sets, under their box set UPC's, they cannot be found on the database. What does one do when adding these?

I'm pretty much a newbie, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You should enter the boxset by UPC. With just the basic information according to the contribution rules for boxsets.

Enter the included discs as child profiles via Disc-ID.

Please read the contribution rules before contributing.
If any more questions arise during the creation of the profiles, feel free to ask.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

And if you would like to use the information from the profiles you already found for the individual movies, see this thread. Make sure, however, that that information is correct for your edition as well (you can use the "checklist" in the aforementioned thread).

If the individual disks are already part of the database and they have UPCs, there's no reason to fool with entering them by disc ID unless you really want to.  I'd only mess with entering them by disc ID if the individual movies in the sets didn't have UPCs.

And if you do include any existing profiles, be aware that the original release wins on contributions.  Usually they'll be identical, but if there's new cover art or other things that have changed, I wouldn't contribute those changes.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection.
