combined databases

i know this has probably been posted a few times but i have searched and thought it would be easier to just ask...........i want to combine my databases to just 1 and can't seem to do it no matter if i backup and restore it always deletes the last restore.....anybody know how to combine 6 databases into 1?? thanks

You'll have to do a partial restore (there you can also select all profiles). This way, these profiles gets added to the existing database. "Full restore" on the other hand will always replace the complete database.

If you mean to restore DB1 + DB2 + DBx etc into DB1, firstly you are in the wrong thread as this thread is for "Printed Reports".

If that is what you mean then, With DB1 loaded in DVDP, goto
File > Restore Database
Select the location & file of the next DB to add.
then "Next"
Select "Restore Specific Profiles", obviously selecting the required Profiles
if memory serves right De-select "Replace full user database" (I might be wrong with this item)

Press "OK"
DVDP will now "ADD" the selected profiles to DB1. Repeat for each DB you want to ADD.
