This will let me (and others) to use barcode scanners that type the code AND hit enter (cuecat scanners do that). Right now, the problem is that when there is more than one locality or version for a movie, the first one is selected during a barcode scan, and there doesen't seem to be a way to correct that later on. | | | Kutch! - Homepage |

| Posted: | | | | Wouldn't it be simpler if the program just did not accept Enter as OK when typed in the UPC field if there are multiple localities for that UPC? Even with manual entry it might be too easy to just hit Enter and accept the first locality in the list. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

There is a way: select the profile, go to DVD->Change Locality. Well, that works now that I have scanned all my 465 titles, how do I search for all non-norwegian locale movies? it's a wee bit hard to find the ones that are wrong | | | Kutch! - Homepage |

| Posted: | | | | You could use the CSV Export Plugin. Add "Locality" to the columns to be exported. Open it with Excel. Enable the "Auto Filter" feature. Filter for Locality. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Yup, that ought to work. I'll get right on it. Does the information download automatically when I change the locality, or do I have to choose some value from the online menu? BUT - my feature request still remains | | | Kutch! - Homepage |

A lot of scanners actually have the enter key at the end as a programmable setting and iirc I believe that you can change that in the cuecat as well (so you can turn it off) I agree with GSyren's suggestion of just removing the behavior of having the enter key act as OK in this field. additionally, as far as downloading the updates after changing the locality. I believe you can flag the profiles and then do a profile update on all the flagged profiles. (don't have the program on this computer so can't check) -Agrare |
