| Posted: | | | | I have a few DVD's that have 4 movies on one disc...is there any way to have the search function flag these titles? Example: "4 Film Favorites: Extreme Action"...is there any way that when I search, the movie titles: Eraser, Last Boyscout, etc it will show up so that I do not purchase individual titles when I already have it on a packaged DVD? Thanks! |

| Posted: | | | | You could enter all the titles (if it will match) into the title field and move the 4 Film Favorites: Extreme Action into the Edition field. (Perhaps you shouldn't contribute it this way, because there are different opinions for such box sets.)
Another way would be to make manual profiles for the movies and add them to the profile as childs. | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

| Posted: | | | | If you can cram the titles into the Original Title field, locally only, it will find the disc if you filter on one title (as long as you have "Search within title" ticked. This way it will still sort and appear as normal.
I prefer manual profiles for the individual films, personally. | | | Last edited: by CalebAndCo |

| Posted: | | | | I'm pretty sure those Warner 4-film favorites releases are 4 disc. You woudl just need to add the contents by disc ID. Add by inserted disc and uncheck "download information from Invelos) to avoid getting the UPCed version of the same movie. |

| Posted: | | | | Well this approach of creating a single Profile for multiple titles on same DVD doesn't always work. This is the because the DVD Title field.
For instance this DVD set consists of 12 movies on 6 DVD's.
The title should be: Lifetime 12 Films Of Christmas (The Road To Christmas, Recipe for a Perfect Christmas, Home by Christmas, A Christmas Wedding, Holiday Switch, A Very Merry Daughter of the Bride, Under the Mistletoe, Holiday Wishes, Christmas in paradise, Deck the Halls, His & Her Christmas, Will You Merry Me?)
But all the fits in that field is: Lifetime 12 Films Of Christmas (The Road To Christmas, Recipe for a Perfect Christmas, Home by Christmas, A Christmas Wedding, Holiday Switch, A Very)
Should I create a Box Set instead?
Anyone please advice a direction to take? | | | Last edited: by CaptainKen |

| Posted: | | | | IS this the set you are talking about? If so... the title of the release is just 12 films of Christmas... and per rules... any release that has more then one movie should be a box set. | | | Pete |

The dvds are flippers. I own 6 of the DVDs and all of them are four movies on two flipper DVDs. | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |

Sorry I took so long to respond, but I've been on business trip. Yes that was the DVD. Thank you for taking the time to clear this up. When I use "By Inserted Disc" it incorrectly identifies the box set, but correctly identifies the movie and disc number. Although both box sets are the exact same movies. So as shown in the screen shot below it thinks the box set is this:rather than this:In case it matters, based on the writing on the discs, some discs side A and B are flipped, such in the example above, Home by Christmas is supposed to be side A. |
