Update Collection Lost on iPhone

Ok so I am very new to this but am very impressed so apologies if a stupid question.

I added some titles on my iPhone no worries, then after setting up the sharing on my Mac I selected the updated Collection which worked fine, but it removed my collection on my iPhone.  Check the collection on mac and all movies there.  Check collection online and all there, but blank on iPhone.

What did I do wrong?

more or less had the same experience...
I think this update should definitely include a warning when it's about to suppress things on the iPhone.. iTunes does that, it's very convenient (and life saving !)

Surely someone must have an idea please?

I like this app and with the price it costs I would have thought there would be a little bit of support..;(

I am not sure why it removed all of your movies on your phone. What happens if you synch the phone from the desktop version (make sure you do NOT select "Send Changes" on the phone).

You can also make a back up of the desktop version before trying it to make sure you have your collection (Click on File then BackUp database in the desktop version).

Thank gerri it has sorted itself out with my collection but now I'm unable to Update Collection from my iPhone with it telling me server Connection Does Not Allow Changes.

Can you explain this please as worked first time when I added a title but not now.
