I have the iPhone APP purchased; where do I secure my Registration number from this or is this something you have to purchase in addition?

The Desktop and Windows Mobile apps have registration numbers but the iPhone app doesn't have (or need) one.  It's permanently "registered" via your iTunes account i believe.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

OK; so the APP is running; but how then does this translate into me getting access then as if I had another product which would have a Registration Key; or is this then another purchase?

1) You can download the Desktop app and use it for free (with some restrictions).  I think you can sync iPhone to the Free Desktop as well.

2) You can use either the 3G or WiFi to sync the two.  This is a local (to you) sync with no web access or registrations required.  Download the free desktop version and try it.

Note, there are also dedicated iPhone forums at  the bottom of the main forum page where you might get more detailed answers.

I think you can find your answer on online, just put your question to them.
