New reports have suggested that the new HTC Droid Incredible 2, which is the update to one of the most popular devices on Verizon’s shelves, would be dropping into stores in just two weeks, on April 28th, 2011.

Rumors have appeared today that the upgrade to the Droid Incredible will go on sale in two weeks as Droid Life spotted some DROID Incredible 2 marketing materials arriving in Verizon stores today, leading many to believe that the device will indeed be launching soon.

The HTC Droid Incredible 2, which boasts a 1GHz processor, a front-facing camera for video conferencing, is expected to work on CDMA/GSM support for roaming to more than 200 countries, making the device a true world phone. Aside from that, the device also offers several bonus features like a TI Audio Chip that powers SRS surround sound, noise cancellation, an 8MP camera with dual Xenon flash and wireless charging.

In fact, more details have surfaced today, saying that the device could possibly arrive on April 21st instead, in the form of a leaked image from Verizon’s internal system. However, that bit of information should be revealed by Verizon soon enough as we are all excited hearing about an official launch date for the device.

When glorifying Smartphones would you please bear in mind that:
- they have become mostly useless for using them as "phones"
- 70 - 80% of the mobile users do NOT use a smartphone
- the main reason for the growth of the smartphone market is that you simply don't get any normal cellphones anymore.

I've been using my old Nokia 6310i until last year and it took me a hell of a time to find an adequate replacement when it finally quited service.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
