What about the 2D/3D info for a movie box set? Leave it out or check all appropriate checkboxes? | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

What about the 2D/3D info for a movie box set? Leave it out or check all appropriate checkboxes? Had the same problem and have it treated like Features, Audio Tracks and Subtitles. This is missing in the updated rules. | | | Hardy

As I have already seen contributions were the 2D option was removed from the parent. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

Removing the option from boxsets with multiple versions of the same film certainly sounds wrong to me; it's been a consistent rule that parents with multiple versions of the same film always keep all info for people who don't use the optional child profiles. For regular boxsets of different films I can see the logic of removing the data and it being "child profile only" as per other details, but I can understand both ways of doing it. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong | | | Last edited: by Voltaire53 |

| Posted: | | | | Boxsets are listed in the rules next to 'multiples' for colour: Contains multiple programs which differ in their coloring methods (such as box sets or multi-film discs with a Colorized and Black & White version included).
So I would assume that we are to keep this info in the boxset section which is helpful to people like me who don't use child profiles. |
