 | | Posted: | | | | | | | While I didn't watch it in 3D, I've heard great things about Dredd, and I can see through some of the sequences how it incorporated 3D and would be good watch.  Plus it doesn't hurt that the standard blu-ray release comes standard with 3D.
One thing else interesting I found with the disc is that the secondary English audio track is listed in the menu as Dolby stereo optimized for late night viewing.  Which is probably a good idea as the 7.1 mix is pretty robust.

I saw Dredd in 3D on the big screen so that was an immediate buy. I don't have neighbours to care about the noise which is a good thing. Anyway, also ordered: - A Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas - Rise of the Guardians - Nitro Circus - Silent Hill: Revelation - Frankenweenie - Monsters Inc - A Liar's Autobiography: The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman - Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning - Madagascar 3 |

 | | Posted: | | | | | | | Forgive me Samuel... if this hijack's your thread just a little. But I have a question about 3D and figured I would just ask here.
When I was in my early to mid teens... I injured one of my eyes... ended up blind in the one eye. So naturally that put an end of me seeing anything in 3D... as the glasses was 1 lens blue and one lens red... needed to see through both lens to see the 3D effects.

I noticed on the glasses with the new 3D TVs that both lens look the same... I have only seen images of these... never seen these sets in person. So I was just curious... with me only having sight in one eye... would I be able to see 3D effects on this new set-up?

Awesome. Don't care for 3D much myself. But i do have an IMAX pair of 3D glasses, sitting on my DvD shelf's. Just thought they be a nice piece of cinema history, to hold onto. |

 | | Posted: | | | | | | | Titanic, although this was converted to 3D. There are a few scenes, especially the wide shots at sea, which do not give you a 3D feel, but contrary to my expectations, totally blew me away. It was almost like walking on deck. I can highly recommend this one. The limited edition (very expensive on Amazon for some reason), is actually a very nice set. The Dutch version (which of course has the original English soundtrack is available for less than half price.http://www.bol.com/nl/p/titanic/1002004012393855/ | | | | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

No worries. I can't answer the question though I'm afraid. Perhaps visit a store that has 3D tvs and test a pair of the glasses out? |

Yes, I ordered Titanic today for £14.75 @ Amazon. I did see the LE but it was over £100! Reviews for the 3D were good so it was an easy choice. I just ordered Avatar, Shark Night and Underworld: Awakening. Anyone know how I, Robot is in 3D? |

According to Blu-ray.com, it was frankly s@it. http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/I-Robot-3D-Blu-ray/43016/#Review Surprised there not working on a Fifth Element, 3D Blu-ray. It's usually the one film, they roll out, for showcasing a new format | | | | | | Last edited: by ShinyDiscGuy |
