Online DB Update incomplete on GS3 |

When we try to do an Online Update to the external SD, we each get about 1150 dvds with no images. We've noticed that the update aborts during the the profile phase. The dvds that were updated seem good, but none have images.
I also tried the PC Update and the connection is verified during the setup, but hangs without updating any dvds during the update.
Any thoughts?

Also use IP address instead of server name as this is more stable. Open the used port (default:32847) in your firewall. It took me 4 tries and my wife 3 tries before we got complete databases with images with Online Update. I don't know why it aborts early.
Yes, using the IP rather than the machine name worked for the PC Update.
Great looking app!
I've been waiting for a long time for Android DVDP. I'm glad it finally made it.

If I use the update via the online connection I get connection errors on start or less than 5 seconds after.

Step one is to do a database repair on your PC, then try the PC connection again. That didn't solve anything, it still crashes. But that was to be expected since it works on my other device. And the connection issue with the online connection can not be solved by this since it is another problem. |
