Many threads about one of these subjects..
1> DVDP-A does not see externally installed SD CARD for data base storage "/extsd"
< It see's the internal storage, but if installed there the program can not find the needed files to run correctly and it finds the "/sdcard" (on my Dell Streak Android 3.2 devices DVDP-A see's all three levels of storage?)>
2> Less than half of my close to 3,000 disc data base and no images are being transferred and then the program looses connection.. the connections loss is from many things but from my testing it all has to do with the android device syncing with weather app, email, Facebook, Google+, and other programs that are set to sync at different times of the day.
3> I can not log-in via the web site.. my password works at sign in here but not from the device?

Note: I did a factory reset and deleted all bloatware, to make sure all RAM/STORAGE was free and re-installed only the Google Required software to access the "Google Play Store" so that I could download DVDP-P again  and tried to update before installing any other apps. and still could not complete the full update??

3): Disable "T9" or what ever this is called on your device (the function that automatically suggests and fills in words when typing).

2): Currently DVDProfiler is known to disconnect if not running exclusively. So temporarily disable all other sync and/or auto-update functions until the initial database-download is completed.

1): Not sure what might cause this except for in-compatible and/or defective SD-card.
So please check if your card is listed as compatible for your device (esp. volume-size).
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

A3> The auto fill does not work in apps (or at leat on my device) as I am able to login to the web page.
A1> The file browser see's the external SD card just fine., as my USB on this cheap (less the $50) device so have used the SD card to import a number of apps & books into the device before I was able to root it and get the Google apps installed.
