| | Posted: | | | | I want to enter a box with 3 movies on 3 disks (they don't have individual UPC). So I make 3 separate entries for the disks, then I make the entry for the box.
In 'Box set contents', I enter the 3 separate disks. At that moment, the 3 disks disappear from my (local) list.
My question, when I want to Contribute (upload to the database), will the 3 disks be automatically uploaded when I upload the box or do I have to upload them separately.

| | Posted: | | | | First of all, welcome to the Asylum, Jsco.  Regarding the disappearance of the 3 separate discs: Go to Options / Display and then tick the box next to Auto-expand box sets. That should solve it. (Depending on this setting, you'll see a small - or + next to the profile of the box.) Regarding your question: you have to contribute each "profile", as it's called, separately. The 3 discs are called child profiles, the one for the box is the parent profile. When you upload them, you have to enter Contribution Notes stating where you got the data you entered, in particular Cast and Crew data. Contributing IMDb data is not allowed for legal reasons. | | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |
