Thumb nails vanished when upgraded to Iphone 6

approx 50 to 60% of my thumb nails went M.I.A. when upgraded from Iphone 4s to 6 any solutions out there??

So far tried updating collection and changing from high res to low thumbnails for the rebuild. So far no good.
