I have noticed over the last few months that when I update my profile, the images are very poor quality. I used to have cover art that you could actually read Blu -Ray on the top and make out who was in the movie by reading the cover. Now it is a blurry mess. Any reason to go to the lowest quality image?

Go to Options.  Then Display.  Make sure DVD Cover Image Quality is set to High Quality.

If it is, then you'll need to provide examples of some profiles.  Depending on what profiles you're talking about, it might just be that they have crappy images.

First of all: it's a user-built database, so if the low-res is the best that is submitted, than that is what we get.

But, it could also be a technical problem. You have a registered version, made clear by the , so you should get the best resolution.
Under "Tools -> Options -> Display", is "High Quality" choosen?
If it is, could you give us 2-3 UPC with locality so some of us could have a look from our end?
