| Posted: | | | | I want to take some cast / crew information from profile A and add it to profile B, without also completely overwriting the information in the destination profile.
Anyone care to remind me of how this might be done? |

"Paste and Append Cast/Crew"? Or if you need more functionality you can do it via a text-editorcya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

Can you dumb it down for me? |

When you right-click you should see "Paste All Cast" overwrites the existing one "Paste and Append Cast" adds to the existing. If you are not seeing this, you either need to reset you menus ( Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Reset All Menus) or switch your layout (save yours beforehand!) to a standard one. | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

Can you dumb it down for me? It's not in the main menu "DVD -> Paste...", but in the "DVD -> Edit" Cast- or Crew-tab hovering over name/role-section right-click context menu. I don't think that a layout can remove this context menu option. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |

I went back looking and finally figured it out. Many thanks to all. |

I went back looking and finally figured it out. It was "profile B" that attracted my attention. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |
