Hi everybody,
as from the subject line: I would like that a custom photo of a cover, taken for example on the iPad, could be "seen" as cover in the iPhone version. I synchronize the two versions via upload/download (I do not know it there is a better way).  But when I download on the iPhone, the custom covers are disappeared.
Best regards
Claudio

Having "DVD Profiler Online" act as the middleman between your mobile devices will always limit you to the cover images that are part of the official profiles available for all to download.  In order to accomplish what you want you'll need to use the "DVD Profiler for PC" application.  That is where your collection needs to live.  It will act as the middleman between your mobile devices.  Updating the mobile apps will require both your mobile devices and "DVD Profiler for PC" to be on the same local network.  You'll create a "DVD Profiler for PC" database within the mobile apps entering the IP address of the computer running "DVD Profiler for PC".  So long as "DVD Profiler for PC" is actively running you should then be able to run a database update from the mobile apps bringing down any changes made from the "DVD Profiler for PC" application across your local network.  This includes any local profile data and cover images that are not part of the official profiles stored by the online servers for the community as a whole.

While it's not ideal, you could add the photo on both devices.  When I take a photo on my phone, it shows up on my iPad (I'm talking about the built-in Photos app here, not the DVD Profiler app).  And even if you don't have that configured, you should still be able to Air Drop the photo to your other device.  You would just need to add the profile image on both the phone and tablet.

With that said, if the PC version is an option for you, that's by far the best way to maintain your collection.  But if it's not an option (no PC, you have a Mac, etc), the above solution should get the job done.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection.
