What's interesting is if I sort A-Z "X Men Days of future's past" is first, but if I do Z-A "Cinderella" is last. Very strange. Could someone take a look and let me know? |

There are several dvds that aren't sorted correctly that aren't box sets. Also, it seems to have started "recently" as outside of collection #1 which used to sort correctly, the first number that is wrong is 1506. Any ideas? Is this the right place to ask where someone from invelos might take a look? |

There are several dvds that aren't sorted correctly that aren't box sets. When you unnest the Box Sets in your local collection, alphabetical local order should match the online order (by Sort Title, hence the name). If not, I'd delete the online collection and upload the local collection again. Do you also have the iOS and/or Android version in use? | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |

| Posted: | | | | Dumb question, but have you tried a DB repair and are you going to the Collection tab/Sort By/Title/Ascending? If so, it is probably the Sort Title field that's set incorrectly. If that doesn't help, I'm stumped.

| Posted: | | | | Are you referring to the sort order in your local PC collection or the sort order as displayed in your on-line collection? (Since you're posting in the DVDP Online forum...)
In case of the latter: you can change the sort name in the profiles you want to see sorted differently and then upload your collection again. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks everyone for the responses. To answer the questions:
This is for the online website specifically the link I provided if anyone wants to see the issue for themselves. Alphabetical sorting works just fine in both the windows application and the android app.
I've tried repairing my database and reuploaded the collection from both the windows and android apps. Neither fixed the problem. It still is broken on the website.
Any other ideas? Does invelos monitor these forums or should I submit an issue elsewhere? |

| Posted: | | | | It's about the sort order in your on-line collection then. Yes, that is a mess. Must have something to do with the Sort Title in those profiles getting screwed up at some point. I'm not sure there's any way around that other than fixing the Sort Title in those profiles yourself in the way you want them. You can ask Invelos for tech support here. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | I seem to recall something from the past where someone had an issue with the online and the solution was to: Create a new empty DB and make it the default; then upload that to the online; point to the previous DB as the default and delete the empty one and finally upload that to the online. That fixed their problem...I just can't remember what that problem was. Maybe someone else remembers and can point to that solution thread. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |
