Again major earthquakes here. New Zealand.
BBC report 7.8 but it was 7.5 at 15kms deep.

I am in Wellington where major damage suffered. I have finally got power back 13hrs later.
All well here, and a bit nervy with continuous aftershocks, so no sleep since first quake at midnight.

Now to add insult to injury, we are going to experience thunderstorms and high winds (+120km/hr).

Ah well, another day off work as not allowed into central city.

The Seddon ones we feel the most as the same fault line through Wellington.
The Kaikora ones are out to sea mostly, which is what caused the Tsuami.

I'm disappointed, there are no cool disaster videos. Only descriptions like "light", "weak", or "moderate".
