In the statictics/graphs I can see how much I've spend each year.

1.
Is there a way I can just see the overall total, so I don't have to manually add the total of each year?

2.
Also with average price, can I choose an overall average, instead of manually calculating it?

Thanks

The Database Query plugin will help you there.

There might be another plug-in floating around that might help too.  The name is escaping me at the moment, but perhaps someone else will recall.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.

ProfilerQuery is the other tool I'd suggest.  I'm not sure if it does this or not, but it's worth checking.  If not, talk to Gunnar.  He's very responsive to adding features.

Before you use either plugin I suggest to have a phone at hand in case of heart failure
Also make sure that a spouse or significant other isn't in the room to see those numbers.

You can go to reports and use the insurance report it will give you the total purchase price and retail price of your whole collection.

Just FYI, ProfilerQuery does not do this. The main reason is that there are potentially multiple currencies involved and calculating a unified value would require exchange rates, which makes it complicated.

However, ProfilerQuery does provide you with an ability to gather lots of other information about your collection, and it's well worth your time to give it a try. Check it out here.

"Group: None" looks interesting.

For those interested, I've now spend £11658,99 the last 15 years collecting films! :-)

But I still need to plug in a few prices

This thread made me rethink my stand on Purchase Price and SRP in the statistics section of ProfilerQuery. It is now supported, but it only shows the total per currency.

See this post.

Well after I ran the "insurance report" I went to my Homeowners insurance company and added my collection to my policy. My collection vastly exceeded the standard amount for loss of media.

Food for thought.
