I purchased the Limited Edition Gift set (UPC 032429-252791)

The Outside of the box states (4k, 3d, and Blu ray)

A retail packaged keep case with sleeve was enclosed (upc 032429-253392) along with the box for the collectible.  That keep case is listed as 4k and Blu-ray. (no 3d bd)

In the retail keep case package was a 3d bd in a paper sleeve, like it was an addition to the keep case.

The question, Those that purchased the retail disc (upc 032429-253392) as a stand alone, did it include the 3d disc?

If it did not, then how should the disc be handled within the gift set, that does have the 3d version?

Another question.  Should the Gift set parent be treated as a boxset, and the enclosed retail packaging have akll the cast crew etc?

If I have this straight, the parent would contain two children profiles:

1) 032429-253392
2) The 3d Disc would be based off the disc ID

The parent would contain information about a normal boxset information,  and should not include film details.

I would assume that 032429-253392 did NOT include the 3D disc as it would have mentioned it, but I would double check.

And the 3d disc would be handled as it's own profile.  note that it may be that that Disc ID is already in use as part of another release, if that is the case you should create an alternate profile.

As far as your second question, Yes it'd be a boxset (from my understanding of the situation) and it should not contain the film details as those would be in the children.

The only issue with that.  The 3d bd was in a sleeve inside the cellophane wrapped keepcase along with the other 2 discs.  It was not just placed inside the gift set box.

We always profile based upon packaging, and that is why I ask if the stand alone retail keepcase had the 3d disc included.

If it was included (even temporarily at release) then the retail keepcase would would necessarily have the 3d as part of its box set.

I see the only other option is to create an alternate profile for the retail keepcase just for the child of the gift box
